Meet the Team

A native of Chicago, Jon Tabbert has been based in Europe since 1981; first in Vienna where he represented a consortium of American universities, and in Britain since 1982. Prior to moving to Europe, Dr Tabbert held teaching / administrative positions at Hastings College in Nebraska, Lake Erie College in Ohio and the University of North Dakota. Since his arrival in the UK, he has served as the senior admissions official at a number of American universities, most recently at Richmond, The American International University in London.

In the mid-1990’s, he founded Jon Tabbert Associates to provide guidance and assistance to students, families and educational organizations on American higher education. He has advised organizations as diverse as the Scottish Qualifications Authority, the American Institute of Foreign Study and the National Society for the Gifted and Talented. He regularly speaks at leading independent schools on university education in the United States. Jon holds a bachelor’s degree from Bradley University, a master’s from Minnesota State University and a doctorate from the University of North Dakota.
