Meet the Team

Mark Blaweiss has worked in education for over 35 years. He has held leadership roles at numerous universities, and secondary schools including serving as the Dean of Freshmen at Drexel University, Dean of Students at the Atlanta College of Art, Dean of Students at New College of Florida, and as the Director of University Placement at the IMG Academy.

Since 2005, Mark’s advising practices focuses on factors that lead to a successful transition from secondary school to university life. He has guided hundreds of students and families from around the world as they navigate the complex university search and selection process. Mark’s students now attend, or have graduated from, selective universities throughout the USA, Canada, Europe, and Australia.

Mark’s wealth of experience in the fine arts, music, and athletics brings a unique expertise to students with interests in those areas – whether as an integral part of their undergraduate experience and/or as a career focus. Mark has used this experience to also guide postgraduate applications to medical, law, business, and graduate schools across the globe.

Mark’s students have been accepted to schools including Harvard University's School of Business, acting programs at Cal Arts in Los Angeles. He advised a highly ranked skier who was admitted to Dartmouth’s highly competitive and well regarded ski team, golfers at USC & Pomona University and a student athlete who in addition to become the starting Centre for the Dallas Mavericks in the NBA also attended the prestigious Stanford University.

Mark received his Master of Education from the University of Virginia. When not working with students Mark enjoys time with his family and is an avid bicyclist.
