Meet the Team

Alec Abramson graduated summa cum laude from the University of Chicago in June 2024 with a bachelor’s degree in English Literature—and a minor in Italian Studies. He joins A-List with years of tutoring and teaching experience under his belt: he mentored his uni peers in one-on-one sessions as a Core Writing Tutor, supported his local community as an Academic Mentor for Chicago secondary students and delivered lessons on dramaturgical design for a theatre course. Inspired by his own teachers’ lasting impact (and a perhaps peculiar fascination with test-making and test-taking), Alec is excited to collaborate with students as they pursue their dreams…standardised-exam-related or otherwise!

Though originally from the San Francisco Bay Area, Alec recently relocated to London in pursuit of new experiences—and clotted cream.
