Associate Advisor
Jenna Laycraft
Jenna’s career as a university advisor began after being accepted into her own dream school: Brown University. As a Master’s student in American Studies, she predominantly focused on studying sexism and racism in American History and completed two independent studies with the chair of American Studies and the university’s curator, respectively. After graduating with a 4.0 GPA, she worked for Studiosity as a writing advisor and began to advise students on their university applications and academic essays on a freelance basis. She is eager to share her wisdom about American cultural differences and the exceptional education offered across the Atlantic.

Previously, Jenna attended the University of Toronto, where she double majored in Philosophy and Visual Studies and graduated with High Distinction. Besides academics, Jenna has studied at the Florence Academy of Art and has volunteered for organizations like ¡CityArts! (a federally funded after-school arts program) and Literal Change (a Toronto-based non-profit that provides literacy lessons in prisons).
