Meet the Team

Katie is a Brown University magna cum laude graduate with a double major in History and International and Public Affairs (GPA 4.0, equivalent to UK First-Class Honours). She scored a 1540 on the SAT (780 Reading and Writing, 760 Math) and specialises in helping students approach standardised testing strategically, with a particular focus on building confidence and improving performance under time pressure. During her time at Brown, Katie worked as a teaching assistant for a class of over 50 students, supporting them with analytical writing and research projects and developing clear, structured approaches to complex material. She also brings experience from roles at the Rhode Island Center for Justice and the US Department of Justice, where she honed her ability to synthesise dense legal information into accessible, accurate prose—skills she now applies to SAT preparation and US university applications. Now based in London, Katie works with students from a range of educational systems and backgrounds. She is a native English speaker, speaks French proficiently, and has intermediate proficiency in Arabic and Dutch, which helps her support international and multilingual students navigating US admissions and standardised testing.
