Standard University Advisor
Lesley Lim is an experienced university advisor and CELTA qualified teacher who has helped students with English for Academic Purposes (EAP) both at the secondary and tertiary school levels. She worked for twelve years as a teacher of History and Theory of Knowledge in the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (DP). While teaching in the IB programme she underwent training to take up the role of university advisor and wore the two hats of an IB teacher and a university advisor for four years. Lesley is enthusiastic about helping students find a university that inspires them, that nourishes a desire for learning and that, ultimately, encourages them to better the lives of others in their communities and the world at large.
Lesley earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Trinity College, Hartford, Connecticut and subsequently went on to earn a Master of Arts degree in Cultural Studies at the University of Sussex and a Master of Education degree at Nova Southeastern University.
