Meet the Team

Marie recently graduated from the University of Chicago with a degree in physics. During her time there, she was awarded four Metcalf Grants to pursue internships from material science at IBM to particle levitation at UChicago. During these summers she was also a tutor for AP physics students, passing on her knowledge of and love of science and developing keen skills in translating complex physics and math concepts to a range of levels. Marie grew up in London, where she attended St. Paul’s Girls’ School, achieving 4 A*s in physics, math, biology, and English literature. Ahead of UChicago, she received a 35 on her ACT after being an A List student herself! Her goal is to pass on the incredible knowledge and methods that A List has to offer students so they can, like Marie, achieve their academic goals. Her specialties lie in math and physics, but as an avid reader and artist having taken several humanities classes at university, she is passionate about teaching reading and writing as well.
