Meet the Team

Before joining A-List, Sasha taught for the Oxford Royale Academy, where he instructed students aged fourteen to eighteen on the principles of experimental psychology. His teaching approach, characterized by fostering student-led discussions, significantly bolstered each student's confidence in their scientific capabilities.

Sasha graduated summa cum laude from New York University, where he majored in Language and Mind. His academic journey included three semesters in Florence focusing on Italian studies, and a semester in Hawai'i exploring sciences. Following his undergraduate studies, Sasha managed an experimental Philosophy of Language lab at the University of Southern California before completing his MPhil in Linguistics, Philology, and Phonetics from the University of Oxford.

Sasha’s high-level exploration of language and its science provides him a unique foundation from which to support students in both the qualitative and quantitative aspects of the SAT and ACT. Throughout his various roles and experiences at the world’s top institutions and in his tutoring efforts, Sasha has remained steadfast in his commitment to the enrichment, development, and confidence of his students. He dedicates himself to providing the same level of exceptional mentorship he received, enabling his students to attain confidence in their academic endeavours, self-assurance in the university environment, and access to pivotal opportunities.

Sasha was primarily raised in northern New Jersey but also spent three years of his secondary education at the Anglo-American School of Moscow. He is currently based in Oxford and London, where his family resides.
